Les mercredis à la ferme

During the school vacations, (re)discover organic and peasant farming!

A highly diversified farm, organically farmed since 1995, we are currently 6 young people working together at Ferme de la Guilbardière, 20 minutes from Blois.

We produce cereals, flour, noodles, meat, milk and cheese. We sell all our produce locally: in AMAP, on the market, in various stores in the Blois area, and in our small store on the farm.

The farm is open to local school classes during the school year, and to tourists during the vacations.

The visit lasts around 2h30 and includes:
-a guided tour of the farm, including a visit to the cowshed, milking parlour, cheese dairy, flour mill, etc., and a chance to meet the cows, calves and pigs.
-A production workshop: butter, noodles or cheese.
-a tasting of our products.

The visit costs 7 euros per person, except for children under 2, for whom it's free.

Visits by appointment: in February and April: Wednesdays at 2pm during school vacations in zones B and C. During the summer vacations, Wednesdays at 10am. And during the All Saints' vacation period, Wednesdays at 2pm.

If you're a group of more than 10 people, we can offer you a specific time slot.
