Parking for cars bikes, camper vans and coaches

Bike parks

In Blois, the bike is king, interconnected to the "Loire à vélo" cycle route and to the 400 km of trails forming the "Chateaux à vélo" network, with plenty of spaces to park your bike securely. On the banks of the Loire, bike racks are available near the St Jean car park and at the station. Don't forget your bike lock.

There are also lots of bike racks on the Place du Château, under the trees.

Car parks

Our undergroud car parks are managed by Stationeo, for long stays and easy access.The nearest to the château is imaginitively called the "Parking du château", and is reserved for vehicles less than 1.90 metres tall (ordinary cars, in other words). Spaces for minivans less than 1.90 metres are available at the entrance.

Within 5 minutes of parking, you'll find yourself looking at the magnificent view over the "Facade des Loges" of the château, right in the heart of Blois.

Camper vans

The city is accessible to camper vans, and only the long-stay car park is regulated. You can park along the banks of the Loire, or spend the night in one of the campsites near Blois. The nearest being the camping Val de Blois at Vineuil.

Coaches

A specific coach park is situated 500m from the castle, in Avenue Doctor Jean Laigret. This free parking area allows visitors to embark and disembark, and drivers can wait in their vehicles.
