Cellettes

Town, village, neighbourhood in Cellettes
  • Just 6 km south of Blois, in the heart of the Valley of the Kings and close to the prestigious castles of Chambord, Cheverny and Chaumont-sur-Loire, Cellettes is a pleasant place to live, with a population of just under 2,500.
The site has been inhabited for a very long time, and was the refuge of the hermit St Mondry in the 6th century. Of the 18 private châteaux that make up the "crown of Cellettes", only one can be visited: the Château de Beauregard, famous for its portrait gallery.

There are plenty of opportunities for walks along the banks of the Beuvron or in the forests that border the commune.
You can take the N°4 cycle route of the châteaux à vélo ("between vineyards and châteaux"), the Gr3 and many other byways.
In the village, you'll find local shops and restaurants, as well as a wide range of accommodation options (hotels, B&Bs and the municipal ** campsite on the banks of the Beuvron in the heart of the village).
You can also enjoy children's games, petanque courts and tennis courts...
Cellettes is located in the AOC Cheverny appellation area, and there are many vineyards in the commune.
