This small town of 3637 inhabitants is located on the right bank of the royal river between Blois and Amboise, just opposite the Château de Chaumont sur Loire. Onzain, located in the heart of the châteaux, is a privileged place to live and spend cultural vacations in a rural setting. The town's hotels, restaurants, self-catering cottages, bed & breakfasts and campsites are ready to welcome you all year round.
A cycle path links the station to the "Loire à vélo". Less than two hours from Paris, with excellent road and rail links (several daily stops), Onzain is a pleasant place to live, far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.
Onzain is a dynamic and lively community. Here you'll find all the amenities, shops and services essential to modern life. The industrialists, craftsmen and winegrowers of Touraine Mesland all contribute to the town's liveliness.

On the banks of the royal river and in the heart of the châteaux of the Loire...come and stop off at the Onzain municipal campsite, open from late April to mid-September.
Make the most of the landscaped, flower-filled and shady park, where picnic tables are at your disposal. Enjoy a game of pétanque, volleyball, ping-pong, mini-golf and a children's playground, with family and friends. Less than a kilometer away, you'll find all the small shops you need: butcher, baker, bookshop, tobacconist, banks, post office and various boutiques... There are also two supermarkets and a mini-market.
You can also enjoy a meal in one of the town's 5 restaurants, or take time out to relax on one of our outdoor cafés.

    Nearby you'll find tennis, horse-riding and mini-golf.
The region offers a wide choice of visits, including the châteaux of the Loire, the Parc des minis châteaux, the Leonardo da Vinci museum, the Touraine aquarium, the Beauval ZooParc, the Chaumont-sur-Loire Garden Festival, the acrobranche course at Fantasy Forest...
