The château was home to Leonardo da Vinci for the last three years of his life, where many of his rooms have been restored: his bedroom, kitchen, workshop. It also houses 40 of his extraordinary inventions with original materials. Twenty giant machines to try out in the gardens.

The Chaumont Château overlooks the Loire from its beautifully managed gardens. It was the prerogative of many women in the XIX century. Its rooms trace the history of its owners including Catherine Medici and the extravagant Princess of Broglie.

Twenty teams of landscape gardeners offer their vision of the theme “Gardens of the World, Back to Mother Earth”  An original theme often expressed using a wide variety of plants, water and materials.
