DAY 1


Arrival in Blois in the early afternoon 

GUIDED TOUR OF THE ROYAL CASTLE OF BLOIS 03:00PM
One of the most prestigious testimonies of architecture by its 4 facades of different styles, commissioned by the kings of France.

BY CARRIAGE YOU WILL GO FOR A PANORAMIC TOUR OF BLOIS WITH A TASTING BREAK (DURATION 1H15) - 05:00PM
From the castle square you will ride in the district of the Church of St Nicolas, the quays of the Loire and the Jacques Gabriel bridge. Then you will reach the left bank of the Loire and the Aître Saint Saturnin. In this magnificent 16th century cloister, strewn with Renaissance lapidary warehouses, you will enjoy a break and tasting of local products and wines with a breathtaking view of Blois. The carriages will bring you back to the castle square.

FREE TIME - HOTEL ACCOMMODATION - DINNER
SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW AT THE ROYAL CASTLE OF BLOIS "SO BLOIS IS TOLD TO YOU" IN THE EVENING.

You will be placed in the heart of the castle's courtyard and in turn the facades will be illuminated with illustrations telling the story of French history, in which Blois holds the first place.

Built on an island in the middle of the Indre River, its architecture is a perfect combination of French Gothic style elements and features borrowed from Italian art.

VISIT OF THE VILLANDRY GARDENS WHICH RESTORE THE SPIRIT OF THE RENAISSANCE GARDENS 11:30AM
The water garden, on the upper level, in a vast cloister of lime trees.
The pleasure garden with its gardens of love, music and singles
The ornamental vegetable garden forms a multicoloured checkerboard.


LUNCH IN A RESTAURANT IN VILLANDRY 01:00PM


VISIT OF THE AMBOISE CASTLE 04:00 PM
A real fortress built in the 15th and 16th centuries on the orders of Charles VIII, Louis XII and François I, it houses a superb collection of furniture. Panoramic gardens with a view of the Loire and Saint-Hubert chapel where Leonardo da Vinci is buried.

BREAKFAST & DEPARTURE TO THE VALLEY OF THE CHER 9:00AM

FREE VISIT OF THE CASTLE OF CHENONCEAU 10:00AM
Château des Dames, located on the Cher river. You will visit the apartments of Catherine de Médicis, François I and Louis XIV. By going to the terraced gardens you will have an exceptional view of the castle.

In the hollow of the galleries dug in the cliffs of Tuffeau de la Vallée du Cher, you will discover the different stages of traditional elaboration then a wine tasting will be proposed to you.
