Joachim Carvallo and Ann Coleman, great-grandparents of the current owner, made Villandry their life's work, recreating the Renaissance-style gardens in harmony with the château in the early 20th century. The family home, which was remodeled in the 18th century and fully furnished, exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere.
