The www.bloischambord.com website, hereinafter referred to as the “site”, is the property of the Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord – Val de Loire, an association under the law of 1901, which has been entrusted by the Pays des Châteaux (90 communes) with the task of promoting and welcoming visitors to the Blois Chambord – Val de Loire destination.

The site’s publication director is David Hameau, director of the Blois Chambord – Val de Loire Tourist Office.

The website is hosted by the web agency Raccourci, whose head office is located at 18 boulevard Maréchal Lyautey 17000 la rochelle, www.raccourci.fr.

Online booking of accommodation and leisure activities is not a direct service provided by the Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord. Each tourism service provider directs its customers to the online sales platform of their choice. The Tourist Office cannot be held responsible for this.

Online reservations for accommodation and leisure activities are handled by Open Pro/Alliance Réseaux (owned by ADT 41 and CRT Centre-Val de Loire). See detailed Terms of Use.

Access and content

The user acknowledges having read these terms and conditions and undertakes to comply with them.

Access to the site is free.

However, certain parts of the site are accessible only to users with a personal account and password.

Access by site users without a personal account is strictly limited to the free area of the site.

Site users who do not have a personal account are prohibited from accessing personal accounts and undertake not to enter or attempt to enter such accounts. Any such access will be considered as fraudulent access within the meaning of the provisions of the French Penal Code.

  • The Visits & activities and Organize your stay sections are designed as a listing of members of the Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord, who pay an annual membership fee.
  • The Group Stays and Individual Stays sections are devoted to the commercial offer sold by the receptive service of the Office de Tourisme Blois Chambord.
  • The Pass Châteaux section is reserved for ticketing services and products designed and sold by the Tourist Office.
  • The Boutique & billetterie section directs visitors to the Blois Chambord boutique, whose products are sold by the Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord.

The information provided on the site is given for information purposes only and does not exempt the user from carrying out an additional, personalized analysis.

Services sold online or under contract by the Office de Tourisme de Blois-Chambord are subject to general terms and conditions of sale specific to each category. These will be presented to the customer before each sale.

PUBLICATION CHARTER

1. Preamble

The purpose of this charter is to define the rules governing the publication of online reviews on the www.bloischambord.com website (hereinafter referred to as the site).

Moderation is a key element for the Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord, which is part of a global policy of respect for ethics and constitutes an essential requirement with regard to the good behavior that each user must observe on the online review space.

2. Moderation of the online review area

The purpose of moderation is to ensure that users comply with the rules set down by the Blois Chambord Tourist Office.

To do this, moderation involves consulting all content to be published or present on the online notice space.

Moderation applies to all notices to be published and may concern any content posted on the online notice space that has been reported by users or third parties.

3. Relevance

To post a review, the user must be over 18 years of age and not work for a competing establishment in the territory.

Reviews must relate to a real experience and concern exclusively a listing corresponding to a place visited by the user. If a user leaves two reviews, the one with the earliest date and time will take precedence.

Reviews must comply with the following three fundamental conditions:

  • no discrimination ;
  • no comparison ;
  • no insults.

In addition, it is forbidden to create several accounts in order to multiply the number of reviews on a site. By posting a review, the user agrees to be contacted by the Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord to verify the authenticity of the review by e-mail or telephone.

9. Users are hereby informed that their review will not be published on the site for the following reasons :

  • the content of the review contains insults, rudeness, attacks;
  • the content contains random characters or word sequences without any meaning or is so badly written as to be unintelligible;
  • the content is irrelevant to the subject noted;
  • the textual content is spam;
  • the content of the notice calls for legal action;
  • the message is of an advertising nature;
  • failure to comply with any other stipulation of the present publication charter.
  • The message has been posted by the family or employees of the service provider concerned.

Users whose online reviews have not been published will be informed of the reasons for their rejection.

7. Compliance with the law

The following are prohibited by law, and therefore forbidden on the site

Regular non-compliance with these rules may result in a warning from our service, which may lead to suspension of the user’s account.

8. Publication rules

Users are informed that publications will follow the following rules:

  • display notices from the most recent to the oldest;
  • display all notices in their entirety;
  • display the date of the notice and any updates;
  • posting of the notice within a maximum of 15 days after the date of submission, subject to compliance with the stipulations of the present charter.
  • right of reply, free of charge and published within 8 days, for establishments referred to in a notice.

9. Duration of publication

Notices are published for a limited period of 4 years from the date of publication.

Reviews concerning establishments that have closed or changed ownership will be deleted.

Users may request the removal of their review from the site at any time by sending an e-mail to the following address: com[at]bloischambord [dot]com.

10. Right of reply

Each establishment located in the Blois-Chambord area has a free right of reply to :

  • give its version of the facts ;
  • thank the author for his or her contribution;
  • indicate any corrections made since the notice was written;
  • point out any doubts about the authenticity of the notice, which may have been written by an unscrupulous competitor.

The right to reply to reviews published on the site is automatically offered to the partner of the Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord.

Messages constituting the right of reply are published within 8 days of the corresponding review.

11. Acceptance and enforceability

Acceptance by the user of the present charter takes the form of a “click” and constitutes proof that the user has taken cognizance of the said provisions and will be deemed irrevocable acceptance of the present.

The Office de Tourisme de Blois Chambord reserves the right to make any changes to the present charter that it deems necessary and useful.
