Its first known owner was the Lord of Oucques, Parseval de la Brosse. This pivot mill dates back to 1752. It was sold several times between 1754 and 1861. From 1835 onwards, it belonged to Mr Levieuge, the grandson of a miller. He sold it to the local council, which planned to restore it to working order. In 1979, when it was in ruins, the Association pour la Restauration du Moulin de Lory (Association for the Restoration of the Lory Mill) decided to renovate it. Its cage, pair of millstones and roof were reassembled on 30 March 1989. This mill is equipped with Berton sails.
