Domaine national de Chambord

Emblematic of the French Renaissance throughout the world, Chambord cannot be dissociated from its natural environment, the forest.
With its 5,440 hectares and 32 kilometers of surrounding walls, the Domaine national de Chambord is the largest enclosed park in Europe. Much more than a château, Chambord is a jewel of architecture and nature, born of the dream of François I and inspired by Leonardo da Vinci.

Activities: visit the château (discovery, fun, unusual or in-depth), visit the reserve by 4X4, horse show, rides (by bike, boat or electric buggy), music festival in July, exhibitions, readings, Café d'Orléans and boutique...

Last admission 1/2 hour before château closes
The formal gardens close 30 minutes before the château closes.
Château closes at 4pm on December 24 and 31 - Closed on December 25 and January 1
