Le Mohair du Pays de Chambord

At the exit of the park of Chambord, Gérard (+336 01 84 10 08) and Frédérique (+336 81 85 12 33) invite you to visit their Angora goat breeding and thus discover the transformation of beautiful soft and curly wool fleeces into "Mohair".

open all year round for visits, preferably by appointment

Presentation of the goats, caresses at will, explanation of the French Mohair sector: from shearing to finished product.

In the shop, you will find all the creations of Frédérique; sweaters, hats, berets, mittens, slings; scarves, shawls, ponchos... knitted or crochet, warm for the winter in lace for the summer... as well as the socks, gloves and slings woven, Plaids, made by our French manufacturers.

Knitting friends, you will find at the Farm of Maugerie balls "Mohair", Mohair and silk" of incomparable quality with exceptional colors. Frédérique will advise you, offer you models and give you explanations of his creations.
