    Orchards
In 1994, a conservatory orchard was created on 1.5 hectares of communal land. Its aim is to preserve and promote old varieties of apples and pears. Around a hundred varieties are listed.
Tradition: every first weekend in November, the Comité des fêtes organizes the Foire aux pommes, where local arboriculturists offer tastings and sales of the different varieties they produce.

    The vine
At the beginning of the 20th century, vines were a major part of the Montagne economy.
In 1931, there were 348 winegrowers covering 332 hectares. Since 1993, the Cave Coopérative has been producing Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny wines. It is also the leading producer of this Appellation.

The Grand Chambord natural swimming pool is open daily from late June to early September, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Mont-près-Chambord is on one of the "Châteaux à vélo" cycling itineraries.
