The first must-see site in the Loire Valley, the Royal Château of Blois presents a veritable panorama of the architecture and history of the châteaux of the Loire. In the courtyard of the château, the chronology of the kings is displayed on the four facades. The colourful, ornate interiors give a different insight into the lives of their illustrious owners, including Louis XII, François I, Henri III and Catherine de Médicis.

GUIDED TOUR OF CHÂTEAU DE BEAUREGARD AND ITS GARDENS IN CELLETTES
The refined charm of Beauregard is enhanced by its landscaped grounds and walled portrait gardens. A former hunting lodge for François I, the château was converted by powerful families, with the creation of the Cabinet des Grelots and the exceptional Galerie d’Illustres, a collection of 327 historical portraits.
You can also admire the exceptional Delft tiles, panelling and ceiling painted by Jean Mosnier and a fine collection of furniture and objects from the 16th and 17th centuries, as well as a rare 16th-century kitchen.
