At the heart of a landscaped park, the Château de Chaumont overlooks the Loire River and the charming Loire village. Formerly the property of Catherine de Médicis in 1552 and of her rival Diane de Poitiers, in 1875 the Princesse de Broglie acquired it and transformed it into a truly modern princely residence.

Each year, some twenty teams of landscape designers from around the world propose a vision of the theme chosen by the estate. Their expression is often original and unexpected, using flowers, materials, water, trees and foliage.

Château royal de Blois

A must-see site in the Loire Valley, the Château Royal de Blois presents a true panorama of the architecture and history of the Loire castles, making it the best introduction to their visit.

Château de Chambord

A masterpiece of the French Renaissance, this château is François I’s greatest achievement. Inside, the rooms reflect the King’s splendor, with vaulted ceilings and reconstructions of rooms such as François I’s bedroom.
As for the double-revolution staircase, its atypical architecture raises many questions: could it be the shadow of Leonardo da Vinci that hangs over this exceptional monument?
