Our must-haves of the destination

Blois-Chambord has everything you need for a successful hike: the Loire, undergrowth, small villages… and, of course, the châteaux in the background. These must-do itineraries are perfect for getting some fresh air and (re)discovering the destination at your own pace.

Hiking with your family

Our family walks are the perfect way to get moving, breathe and discover the Loire Valley in a different way. Between the banks of the Loire, forest paths and quiet little loops, there are plenty of easy, accessible routes to take the pressure off.

The bonus: the walk quickly turns into an adventure. You’ll cross a variety of landscapes, come across viewpoints, picnic spots and sometimes even a château along the way. It’s enough to motivate the whole tribe and enjoy a real moment together, away from the noise and hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our advice practices

Before setting off on a hike, make sure you’re properly equipped! Wear good shoes to walk comfortably and avoid injury. Don’t forget to take water with you to stay well hydrated throughout the walk. Depending on the season, a cap or hat will be perfect to protect you from the sun. On the way, always follow the official FFR and CDRP41 signposts to ensure you stay on the right route. And above all, check the weather forecast before setting off so that you can adapt your outing and hike in complete safety.
