Upstream from Blois, 14km away, this natural area is located on the north bank of the Loire. It runs alongside the river’s levee, which is part of the Loire à Vélo itinerary. The Chambord national estate is only 16km away (access via the Muides-sur-Loire bridge).
The lake is easily accessible by car (ample parking nearby), bike or on foot. There’s also a footpath around the lake.
During the summer months, you can enjoy a drink or lunch at the “guinguette” by the water. You can also rent a paddle or pedal boat from the sailing club.
Nearby, a natural and sensitive area has been preserved. The Maison de la Loire can take you there.

Several activities and facilities are available around the lake:
- Pedal-boat rental (15€/h), caravel, windsurf, catamaran, paddle (Sailing Club)
- Guinguette restaurant from April to September
- Fishing areas
- Petanque court
- Children’s playground
- Communal barbecues
- Dry toilets
All year round, local events take place on the site: flea market, fishing and sailing competitions, trail, country fair.
