Just 6 km south of Blois, in the heart of the Valley of the Kings and close to the prestigious castles of Chambord, Cheverny and Chaumont-sur-Loire, Cellettes is a pleasant place to live, with a population of just under 2,500.
The site has been inhabited for a very long time, and was the refuge of the hermit St Mondry in the 6th century. Of the 18 private châteaux that make up the "crown of Cellettes", only one can be visited: the Château de Beauregard, famous for its portrait gallery.
