The Matra Museum is proud to announce the forthcoming opening of its temporary exhibition ‘L'Épopée Renault’, a fascinating retrospective retracing more than a century of innovation and automotive passion.
A journey through history
From the Renault Type D, one of the first cars produced by Louis Renault in 1901, to the Renault Mégane 4 RS Trophy R, the flagship of modern technology, this exhibition invites you to take a captivating journey through the history of the motor car. Each model on display bears witness to the evolution of techniques, styles and aspirations of the Renault brand.
Mythical cars
Among the treasures on display are legendary vehicles such as the famous Taxi de la Marne, a symbol of the First World War, and the Renault 4 CV 1063, the sports version of the popular car that democratised motoring in France after the Second World War. Motorsport fans won't want to miss the Renault F1 R26, the 2006 Formula 1 world champion, or the Renault Clio 2 V6, a true gem of performance.
An Immersive Experience
The ‘Renault Epic’ exhibition doesn't just showcase cars; it immerses you in the world of the brand through anecdotes and period objects. Discover how Renault has adapted to the challenges of each era, constantly innovating to meet drivers' expectations.
