INTERNATIONAL GARDEN FESTIVAL
At the heart of a landscaped park, the Château de Chaumont overlooks the Loire River and the charming Loire village. Formerly the property of Catherine de Médicis in 1552 and of her rival Diane de Poitiers, in 1875 the Princesse de Broglie acquired it and transformed it into a truly modern princely residence.
Each year, some twenty teams of landscape architects from around the world present their vision of the theme chosen by the estate. Their expression is often original and unexpected, using flowers, materials, water, trees and foliage.
