Lunch at leisure - The Festival International des Jardins du domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire (April to early November): some twenty teams of landscape designers from around the world present their vision of the theme chosen by the estate.

An atypical, non-conformist place for questioning art, the Fondation du Doubt is a must-see for any creative artist!
Conceived by artist Ben, this art center presents works and documents devoted to Fluxus, a historic movement born in 1960, imbued with humor, self-mockery and a strong commitment to participatory art.
Some 50 artists are represented, from Nam June Paik and Wolf Vostell to Daniel Spoerri, Robert Filliou and George Brecht.

In the courtyard of this château, the entire chronology of the kings is displayed on the four facades. The colorful, ornate interiors offer a different perspective on the lives of illustrious owners such as Louis XII, François I, Henri III and Catherine de Médicis.

Set in landscaped grounds, Château de Chaumont overlooks the Loire River. Until the 19th century, it was the privilege of many women. The rooms retrace the lives of the owners, including Catherine de Médicis and the extravagant Princesse de Broglie.
Some twenty landscape artists from around the world offer their interpretation of the annual theme. These are often original expressions, highlighting both flora and materials.
